The Nike Air Max DN8 Continues Introduction In Grey

The divisive model comes further into view.

The Nike Air Max DN8 Continues Introduction In Grey

At the time of writing, we’re likely still several months away from the Nike Air Max DN8, but we’re getting plenty familiar with what’ll be in store during Air Max Day 2025, even at this early stage. News of the Air Max 1000 and after a “Bred”-adjacent look and a “Light British Tan” edition of the “Dynamic Air” offering now give way to a look at another new colorway.

Of course, the main attraction remains the eight dynamic air chambers that run from the heel to the toe underfoot, here clad in an alarming fire red. Given how the silhouette iterates on the innovations from the Air Max Dn, it’s hard not to draw connections between this look and the “All Night” / “All Day” schemes that introduced it. Look below for the most prominent representation of that, an arrangement of purple, red, and black that echoes the nightlife lean of those introductory colorways.

Equally notable is how the DN8 continues the flush construction of the upper, echoing those cushioning pods with wavy perforations on the sidewalls, outlined with thin graphic layers that match suede and TPU counterparts on the eye-stays and toe. Retro efforts are certainly one thing, but this model and the Nike Air Max 1000 signal Beaverton’s continuing commitment to innovation, pushing the boundaries of what sneakers should look like – hasn’t that been the Air Max motto all along?

The Nike Air Max DN8 in black, grey & red will likely release this March, with retail expected at $190. Catch early retailer images below.
