Upcycle Queen Nicole McLaughlin Sweeps The Factory Floor With The PUMA Suede

Nicole McLaughlin once upcycled used tennis balls into a pair of gloves. Therefore, making shoes out of discarded fabric is easy work for Instagram’s sustainable fashion queen. The New York-based designer just gave her 815k followers a preview of her highly anticipated PUMA Suede collaboration dubbed “Sweep The Factory Floor,” currently expected to release before year’s end.

While PUMA hasn’t revealed official information about McLaughlin’s next collab, its title allows us to make a well-educated guess. The shoes appear to be comprised of various leftover suedes, thus making each pair a one-of-one. Bright and dark fabrics come together across the upper, joined by exposed white stitching. Moreover, each shoe comes with a detachable lace cover that doubles as a storage pouch. Co-branding is kept relatively quiet, with the traditional PUMA Suede logo appearing on the tongue and Nicole McLaughlin’s initials dotting the heel.

No firm release date has been set at the time of this writing, but as mentioned, the Nicole McLaughlin x PUMA Suede “Sweep The Factory Floor” is currently expected to release in late 2024. Know that this page as well as our Sneaker Release Dates hub will be kept current with all available info over the coming weeks.
