The Jordan Heir Just Dropped Its Own “DMP” Colorway

A beloved palette propels the Jumpman's latest basketball shoe.

The Jordan Heir Just Dropped Its Own “DMP” Colorway

The back half of 2024 has been loaded with fresh in-line models out of Jordan Brand, from the Jordan Flight Court to new renditions of the Jordan 4 RM. However, none are as dialed in on a specific demo as the Jordan Heir, standing as the brand’s first female-focused and female-driven basketball shoe.

After a full press release from Nike introduced the model in detailed fashion, we’re getting the official image treatment for the “Metallic Gold” colorway tipped off in that info blast. Marking a divergence from the other pairs released so far, understated style is in the fore, painting most of the shoe’s profile in simplistic (dare we say “Panda”-esque) black and white. The titular “Metallic Gold” is applied in reigned-in fashion, a “quiet luxury” aesthetic running through the midline overlay and radiating from the Jumpman at the heel.

On top of the silhouette’s connection to JB signees like Kiki Rice, it stands as the lowest-cut offering in the Jordan catalog. A drop-in Cushlon 3.0 foam midsole accomplishes that. Still, additional aspects like herringbone tread and the defining cage support ensure you get plenty of performance tech even with its approachable price point.

The Jordan Heir in “Black/Metallic Gold” is available now via Nike and Foot Locker in select sizes ($120). Direct shopping links are included below via “Where To Buy,” scroll further ahead for official images.
