This New Balance 9060 Can’t Wait To Get Outside

With cold weather breezing over our part of the world, it’s time for us to really start dressing. The workwear/hunting/military surplus aesthetic has become extraordinarily popular in recent years, and barring any major shifts, that will continue throughout autumn and winter. If you’re a fan of outdoor-minded attire, the New Balance 9060 just surfaced in a new retailer-exclusive colorway that’s perfect for pairing with the trending look.

The shoe embraces traditional hunting fare with a brown base and safety orange accents on the tongue and midsole, balancing between earthy and high-vis tones. Compositionally, the upper makes use of a mesh base, suede overlays, and a reflective New Balance quarter logo in familiar fashion. A black midsole and matching leather underlays are also utilized, fulfilling a compelling look perfect for styling with camo pants and the like. New Balance heads know the aesthetic well from the 610 trail shoe, which has seen its fair share of camo colorways as well as a likeminded batch of Joe Freshgoods collabs.

The New Balance 9060 “Brown/Black/Orange” is exclusive to French retailer Courir and goes for €199 (which is about $215, a considerable mark-up from the model’s usual $150 MSRP). Unisex adult sizes are available now on the retailer’s website.
