Nike’s Running Supershoe Is Getting A “Bright Crimson” Blast In 2025

We may spend most of our time on Beaverton’s street-style efforts, but running holds onto just as much emphasis today as it did in the company’s earliest days. Foremost in that discussion is the Nike Alphafly 3, the Swoosh’s foremost “super shoe” that just stole the show in Chicago by helping Ruth Chepngetich set a new women’s marathon record by nearly two minutes.

Of course, you don’t have to be world-class to get in on the silhouette. Since breaking out in Chicago in 2023, the Alphafly 3 has been a frequent site at Nike stockists, and the latest look adopts a flashy profile to match its world-class bonafides. An energetic combination of “Bright Crimson/Cave Purple/Lime Blast/Mint Foam/Sunset Tint/Green Strike” is on tap, the enduring gradient on the underside of the heel perhaps the most eye-catching in that mix.

Inherently, the attention-grabbing outfit draws attention to what makes this a “super shoe” in the first place, creating stark contrast between the Flyknit upper and the teched-out sole unit, combining an extreme stack height with a carbon fiber propulsion plate to reduce the amount of energy you use during any distance run you take on.

As a closing detail, check out the industrial text printed atop that ZoomX foam, spelling out “03-2025.” While that date is subject to change, expect the Nike Alphafly 3 “Bright Crimson” to land sometime in 2025, carrying its typical $275 retail price.
