Can you ever go wrong with the Air Max 1? Regardless of the shifting trends in the industry, the 1987 silhouette has remained a frequent sight on foot, an unwavering lane that’s led Nike to keep the shelves stocked with new looks season after season. As the brand’s Spring ’25 efforts begin to come into view, we’ve got a new “Burgundy Crush” pair sure to satisfy the model’s devotees once again.

The traditional mesh foundation shifts from pure white to reflective silver in this edition, its neutral atmosphere continued with the “Taupe Grey” mauve across the suede quarter panel and heel counter. In the truth, the latter shade is a bridge to the “Burgundy Crush” tonality that lends these their name; when matched with the off-white midsole, its hard to deny the refined energy that takes over this pair.

While this edition elucidates continuing commitment to the Air Max 1 as a mainline model, the Tinker Hatfield invention has been a serious factor in more high-heat propositions. PATTA, HUF and PHANTACi bring-backs add to the “Low Poly” .SWOOSH colorway from the start of October, as well as the Supreme Air Max 1 scheduled to land in 2025.
