Kobe Bryant’s Hometown Shines On The adidas Crazy 8 “Philly”

His first ever signature model.

Kobe Bryant’s Hometown Shines On The adidas Crazy 8 “Philly”

Red, white, and blue has myriad associations, but if the canvas is a Kobe Bryant shoe, only one comes to mind. Taking note from the Mamba’s hometown, the Three Stripes is touching down with a “Philly” colorway of Kobe’s first signature adidas shoe.

A key part of adidas’ retro basketball efforts, the Crazy 8 suits up in “Royal Blue” suede, off-white leather, and sparse “Better Scarlet” accents for a look that’s unmistakably Philadelphia. The palette lends itself to the 76ers of course, inherently inspired by the city being the birthplace of the USA with flag colors.

adidas dropped a red-dominant “Philly” colorway earlier this year, although that shoe didn’t feature the gold touches seen on the tongue this time around. Of course, the most talked-about Kobe Bryant “Philly” shoe of the year came by way of the Nike Kobe 4 back in April.

A standout for Kobe shoe collectors, the adidas Crazy 8 “Philly” is set to release via adidas on November 1st for $150. See official images below if these are a must-have.
