Nike SB Dives Deeper Into “Safari” On The PS8

The Paris Olympics are in the rear-view mirror, but we’re still getting hit with new Nike shoes that embrace the same “Safari” theme explored in-depth ahead of the international competition. While the Nike SB PS8 celebrated its inaugural release with an “Olympic Safari” colorway this summer, we’re now hit with official images of a same-but-different look poised to hit skate shops during the Holiday 2024 shopping season.

Compared to the PS8 Olympic Safari, which featured a predominantly white upper and blue laces, this latest pair delivers a decidedly more accurate ode to the Nike Safari proper. Taken with color blocking similar to Tinker Hatfield’s 1987 classic, the Flyknit toe box appears in burnt orange while ostrich leather panels wrap the toe and heel. The quarter and tongue split things up in black, while underfoot, Nike SB once again relies on a semi-clear rubber sole.

Perhaps the strongest Nike SB PS8 entry we’ve seen thus far, the “Safari” colorway will hit skate shops towards the end of 2024 for $120. See official images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview more upcoming skate shoes.
