One Block Down Reveals Third Exclusive Nike Air Max Plus “Reverse” Colorway

The entire trio will drop on September 27th.

Italy’s One Block Down is paying homage to the region that helped make the Air Max Plus such an impactful piece of street fashion. While no one city in Europe can lay claim to making the Tuned Air what it is today (much like how American cities like to bicker about who made Foamposites and Air Force 1s so hot), each metropolis has its own unique story to tell behind the legend that is Sean McDowell’s magnus opus.

OBD’s collaboration with Nike employs a “Reverse” theme in which three original Air Max Plus colorways were intentionally flipped to create new styles. Each has its own unique moniker that reflects the concept — “Clear Fog”, “Cold Sun”, and “Dry Water”.

One Block Down has also been reversing trends by offering up their collaborations to local communities for an astounding €49, which is nearly 75% off the MSRP of a pair of Tuned Airs. Each of the three colorways have been dropping in “Quickstrike” methods via a first come first serve fashion at secret locations revealed through the One Block Down Instagram account. This Saturday, September 21st will be the final of these three releases where the “Clear Fog” colorway will be available at an undisclosed location in Milan. For the broader audience, all three colorways of the One Block Down x Nike Air Max Plus will drop on September 27th, 2024 at 10 AM CET on oneblockdown.it and at their many in-store locations. A SNKRS EU release of the “Cold Sun” and “Dry Water” is scheduled for October 5th, leaving the “Clear Fog” exclusive to the retailer.
