The New Balance 1000 “Mallard Green” Drops September 11th

After dominating the sneaker newswire in Q1, the New Balance 1000 has launched to perhaps a quieter reception than many would’ve expected. Plenty of its introductory colorways have sold out, sure, but at least in our corner of the world, we’ve been awaiting some of the first leaked looks of the model the whole time. September 11th will bring a trio of split color-blocking pairs that first hit the ‘net way back in March.

Included in that delivery is the “Mallard Green” colorway, a complementary blend of forest green, pure white and jet black, making an appearance with a few select hits on the heel and by painting the outsole entirely. In between the typical mixed media of leather & suede overlays up top, ripstop fabric peeks through, clad in dark grey down the shoe’s midline and appearing with a swatch of green towards the heel.

Along with the New Balance 1000 “Real Pink” & New Balance 1000 “Moonrock,” this presents easily one of the most eye-catching takes on the silhouette so far and hopefully, one that inspires future looks as the retro effort keeps on. As stated towards the top, the New Balance 1000 “Mallard Green” releases on September 11th via NewBalance.com.
