Nike Pours “Mystic Hibiscus” On The Zoom GT Jump 2

An alarm red accents the off-kilter design.

Nike Pours “Mystic Hibiscus” On The Zoom GT Jump 2

Following a center stage performance in the Paris-centric Nike “Electric” pack the GT Jump 2 is marching ahead as we inch closer to the NBA season. Though it’s leaving loud patterns in the past, there’s still eye-catching appeal on tap for its latest, a mix of ruby red tones in “Mystic Hibiscus.”

Though “Mystic Hibiscus” gets pole position in the name of this GT Jump 2, “Gym Red” truly sets the tone, sitting atop the design as it drapes the foot entrance and throat of the shoe. From there, the tea-inspired shade takes over the engineered mesh upper, while “Hot Punch” drapes the midsole. Clear TPU surrounding the collar and bronze accents on the Swoosh break up the fully rosy profile and imbue some elevated punch in the margins.

As always, the heavy use of negative space helps the GT Jump 2 stand out even amid a basketball shoes universe where wild designs are rampant. Of course, aesthetics likely come second in the performance footwear hierarchy, and the silhouette doesn’t skimp in that category either; herringbone traction, three applications of Zoom Air and Nike React foam ensure responsiveness, energy return and grippy performance.

Look out for the Nike Zoom GT Jump 2 “Hibiscus” at local retailers and Nike.com in the coming weeks as we enter the Holiday consumer season. Expect a $180 retail price; enjoy official images included below while we await this pair’s release.
