EasyOn Tech Continues With The Air Jordan 1 Low “Metallic Gold”

The Air Jordan 1 Low has been Jordan Brand’s premier canvas for Nike Inc.’s EasyOn program, allowing no-frills entrance and exit on one of their more dominant silhouettes. As the scope of the initiative has widened from aiding those with mobility issues to simply providing an easy experience for all demographics, the latest Air Jordan 1 Low EasyOn in “Metallic Gold” no doubt aligns with that “wide net” concept.

With a zip collar and velcro laces, this pair aims for a painless, slip-on experience without sacrificing the iconic AJ1 look. To that point, a nylon strap on the heel helps conceal the rear zipper once on feet, intended to allow the wearer to go “incognito” with their EasyOn kicks. The colorway, combining a black upper, white midsole and gilded accents, isn’t anything revolutionary, but it feels like that’s the point; allow a mainline colorway to shuffle into this growing umbrella.

The Air Jordan 1 Low EasyOn “Metallic Gold” is expected to release for Fall/Winter ’24, retailing at $130. Keep our Jordan Release Dates page handy for more current info as it develops, or simply get an advanced look via the official images ahead.
