Salehe Bembury’s Crocs Cypress Duck Boot Releases On December 12th

Updated December 9th, 2024: Salehe Bembury officially announced the release of the Crocs Cypress in “Mallard,” set for December 12th. Retail pricing is currently unknown, as is if this shoe will get a wider release down the line. Official campaign images are included below — you can find our original coverage further down.

Original article published August 12th, 2024: Salehe Bembury took to Instagram over Labor Day Weekend to showcase another edition of his upcoming Crocs Cypress silhouette. Maintaining a mix of canvas and TPU, the new boot model is here clad in a naturalistic blend of forest green, black and gum underfoot. A co-branded emblem stands proud on that lower section showcasing both the Colorado company and Bembury’s logos.

As of writing, there’s no clear release details for this new colorway or the original red & green pair we covered back in August. For now, catch an additional detail shot below, followed by our original coverage of the Salehe Bembury Crocs Cypress.

Salehe Bembury’s work ethic is second-to-none. Adding Puma to an already sturdy roster of collaborators, it’s clear that his works with Crocs still holds a special place for both the NYC designer and his fanbase. Though this is not the Crocs Juniper update you may be hoping for (he did share one recently, though), Bembury took to Instagram to showcase a potential new silhouette that’ll potentially join his Pollex catalog.

Layered is the name of the game with this new model, beginning with a canvas shaft that prints a lime green branding tag on its tongue and contrast stitching throughout. From there, Crocs’ Classic Clog lends its forefoot design to this newer formulation, with raised line-work throughout tying it to other iconic duck boot styles. Finally, Salehe Bembury‘s true calling card, Pollex traction, is pasted onto the bottom in wavy fashion, contrasting the rosy layout of the rest of the shoe in neon-tinged fashion.

Release information for the Crocs Cypress is limited at the stage, but get an early sense of what to expect if & when it hits the market via first look imagery just ahead.
