Eladio Carrión Announced As New Balance’s Latest Brand Ambassador

New Balance has amassed an significant amount of talent in recent years, forming partnerships with names like Action Bronson, Jack Harlow, and Aminé en route to extraordinary growth. Now the Boston brand is inking another big name, introducing Puerto Rican rapper/songwriter Eladio Carrión as the latest New Balance ambassador.

Notably, the development comes just after Carrión went on Complex Sneaker Shopping and dropped nearly $48,000 on New Balance sneakers for Puerto Rico’s Olympians, also sharing news of the brand ambassador deal. While we can of course expect Carrión to stay loyal to New Balance footwear in the future, he’s long been a fan of the brand. He was featured in a Shoe Palace/DTLR New Balance 9060 ad campaign last year, and generally favors New Balance footwear when performing. Just this last week, he broke out a pair of New Balance 1000s at the Feria de Las Flores festival in Medellin, Colombia.

New Balance obviously isn’t short on reach, but Carrión’s deal brings 7.1 million Instagram followers into the fold, more than all three of the aforementioned names above. We can likely expect Eladio Carrión x New Balance footwear and apparel in the future, but for now, enjoy pics of the artist’s on-stage fits below as anticipation grows for what’s next.
