“Photon Dust” Cools Down This Jordan Spi’zike Low

The hybrid silhouette marches on in its "rookie year."

“Photon Dust” Cools Down This Jordan Spi’zike Low

While true Jordan Retros still reign supreme, the Jordan Spizike Low has earned Beaverton a sleeper hit this year, retooling Spike Lee’s original model for a more low-key and low-cut edition. It’s been an equal split between novel looks and ones that reference the mainline. While Jordans have certainly tackled grey-heavy looks before, the Jordan Spizike Low “Photon Dust” speaks clearer to the former, sliding in for a Fall ’24 release.

It’s a rather tonal look for the hybrid silhouette, the titular light grey painting a suede upper, slightly tinted darker on the elephant print and the Jordan 4 Wings. Jet black note son the tongue, lace shroud and outsole center the design in nocturnal fashion, with an ever-popular aged midsole underfoot imbuing a bit of vintage appeal. Like many of the Jordan Spizike Low releases we’ve gotten so far, this pair is an easily accessible pair both in palette and composition, presenting a more easily-worn proposition than its high-cut predecessor.

The Jordan Spi’zike Low “Photon Dust” releases Fall 2024, retailing at $160. You can catch official images embedded just ahead.
