The Nike Cortez Turns Heads In “Blue/Green”

A running-turned-lifestyle mainstay made famous by Forrest Gump and a memorable 1972 Olympics debut, the Nike Cortez continues to surface in new colorways Fall 2024.

Sticking with a familiar nylon and suede construction, this latest pair glimmers in an eye-catching shade of blue across the upper, decorated by a pine green leather Swoosh, backtab, and midsole accent. By marrying a lively palette with familiar color blocking and materials, the shoe does a fine job of mimicking retro sport aesthetics even without being an original colorway.

Pairs are expected to release Fall 2024 for $90 in men’s sizing, likely in the near future as the colder months aren’t as weather-permitting for the retro runner. See detailed images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse other upcoming deliveries out of Beaverton.

Speaking of which, the Vomero 5 continues to surface in new colorways.
