The Air Jordan 1 Low SE “Black Toe” Gets Wrapped In Velvet

Premium leather adds more appeal.

The Air Jordan 1 Low SE “Black Toe” Gets Wrapped In Velvet

Polarizing as it may be, Jordan brand has made a habit out of revisited classic colorways with unconventional materials. Looking at the Air Jordan 1 specifically, we’ve seen original colorways come crafted out of satin, Flynit, and a slew of other fabrics in recent memory, all of which are true “love it or hate it” shoes.

The latest from that school of thought is the Air Jordan 1 Low SE “Velvet Black Toe”, a premium take on one of the most iconic and sought-after AJ1 OG colorways. While the “modern” low-top introduces new elements, the shoe mimics the color blocking of Mike’s prized 1985 signature with a black velvet toe, eyelet strips, and Swoosh, complemented by red fabric on the collar and heel. Fueling an even more premium appearance, the base features premium leather and the Jordan Wings logo is debossed into the heel.

If you’re looking to flaunt Jordan Brand heritage but in a more dressed-up manner, this is certainly a solid option. The Jordan 1 Low SE “Velvet Black Toe” releases Fall 2024 for $125, likely towards the tail-end of the season as the materials are better suited for colder weather.
