If you’ve been staying current with Team USA Basketball, chances are you saw the newly surfaced Instagram video featuring everyone’s Olympics sneakers. Longstanding members of the squad like LeBron James and Kevin Durant broke out special “USA” colorways to no surprise, as did team newcomer Anthony Edwards, who rocked a never-before-seen red, white, and blue low-top pair of his first signature; the adidas AE1.

While we’ve yet to hear drop details about that particular shoe, we’re learning of a different “USA” AE1 Low dropping in near future. The bulk of the sneaker is drenched in “Night Indigo” in lockstep with the flag color, while a red toe transitions into a layer of red mesh under the TPU cage on the sides. If the color palette and timing of the release doesn’t make the significance obvious, red “USA” text graces the inner tongue. Fulfilling a patriotic look, the heel logo and exposed sliver of Boost cushioning on the midsole appear in white.

Pairs are currently set to release on August 15th for $110; a $20 markdown from the mid-top AE1 given the shoe’s lower height. See detailed images below and turn to our “Where To Buy” section for purchase links on the drop date.
