The New Balance 2002R “USA” Gets Patriotic Ahead Of July 4th

With folks across the country looking forward to Independence Day cookouts and all the cheerful summer vibes that come with them, New Balance just dressed one of its most popular lifestyle cuts in “USA” makeup for Fall 2024. While not “Made In USA,” the Boston brand’s latest 2002R colorway is decidedly made for USA in a patriotic mix of red, white, and blue.

United States flag colors account for the entire palette, although navy blue does most of the heavy lifting. The tongue, outsole, and overlays all wear the navy hue, while a white mesh base and midsole land stark contrast. In fulfilling the design theme, red hits appear around a reflective New Balance logo as well as on the top portion of the heel.

No release date has been set at the time of this writing, but given the shoe’s clear tie to the 4th of July, it’s likely that pairs will hit shelves sooner rather than later. Enjoy detailed images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview other upcoming deliveries from the Boston brand.

Speaking of which, the New Balance 550 continues to surface in new colorways.
