Stefon Diggs Reveals His ASICS GEL-Nimbus 10.1 “From Me To You”

Stefon Diggs’ partnership with ASICS isn’t like other brand-athlete relationships. The Houston Texans wide receiver has gotten his fair share of special edition cleats among other performance gear, but as evidence by recent Sportstyle ad campaigns, Diggs is also actively involved in the brand’s lifestyle and fashion sector.

After formalizing an endorsement deal last year, the Diggs-ASICS partnership has finally delivered some product by way of an ultra-limited ASICS GEL-Nimbus 10.1 for friends and family. Diggs calls these his “signature shoes” on social media, but “player edition” is a more accurate descriptor. The GEL-Nimbus 10.1 is a new mainline hybrid sneaker set to debut in the near future, comprised of a GEL-Nimbus 10 and GEL-Kayano 14 sole.

Clad in synthetics, the design revolves around the message “From Me To You” with several thoughtful details. Special tongue branding features the word “Family” alongside heart and stickman graphics, while a friendship bracelet-inspired pull tab on the heel spells “Friends” out of beaded letters. Yellow and metallic pink accents maintain the joyful theme throughout, while the base stands out with a wavy meander; a clever nod to the gridiron.

You’ll need to know Diggs to get your hands on these, because the shoes are numbered and limited to just 250 pairs. In any case, the project highlights the upcoming GEL-Nimbus 10.1 and Diggs’ ASICS partnership all the same, fueling anticipation for what’s next on both fronts.
