Nike Revisits “Notebook Scribbles” On The Air Max Plus

Thoughtful material choices appear on the base.

Nike Revisits “Notebook Scribbles” On The Air Max Plus

School’s out for summer, and Nike designers are feeling the vibes on this latest Air Max Plus. Complete with insole graphics that look awfully like a well-loved notebook at the conclusion of a long school year, the shoe builds a common design theme featured on the Air Force 1, Air Max 90, and Air Max 1.

While the theme isn’t obvious when worn-on foot, the upper is made compelling by unconventional materials. Official images reveal a slightly different base taken after gym shorts among other mesh-heavy athletic fabrics, and the heel is comprised of collegiate green canvas as opposed to leather. Alongside more green hits on the mudguard, eyelets, and rubber toe cap, the TPU overlays deliver a white-to-green gradient in familiar fashion. As for the insoles, we see drawings of Nike shoes, slogans, and as is tradition on notebooks across the country; graffiti-inspired illustrations of the letter “S.”

Nike hasn’t floated a release date at the time of this writing, but it’s likely pairs will arrive sometime during the Fall 2024 shopping season. Scroll through the full image gallery below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview other upcoming drops from the Swoosh.
