The Nike Air Max Plus Gets A “Panda” Colorway

Sneakerheads will have to stop bestowing the “Panda” nickname on every black and white Nike shoe eventually, but as long as Panda Dunks remain prevalent on city streets, the moniker isn’t leaving our vocabulary. The latest two-tone effort out of Beaverton lands on the Air Max Plus, comprising a contemporary edition of the Sean McDowell-designed silhouette just in time for summer.

Nike hits pause on the electric color palettes and gradient uppers prevalent on other seasonal Air Max Plus offerings, marrying crisp black overlays with a pure white base and midsole. The simple arrangement reflects the model’s voyage into mainstream consciousness in recent years, delivering an agreeable, versatile look suitable for wardrobes of all distinctions.
