A Color-Blasted New Balance 9060 Appears In Bright Orange, Pink, And Blue

New Balance often leans on its muted and drab grey aesthetic, championing the fashionable capibility of “boring. Occasionally, they’ll jump to complete opposite of the spectrum, accumulating an assortment of flavors that clash wonderfully. Case in point: this New Balance 9060.

Set to arrive this Summer/Fall 2024 on newbalance.com, this latest 9060 delivery opts for a vivid orange on the upper, accented by touches of baby blue on the fore-foot and heel overlays, the interior lining, and the large slanted-N on the upper. Below, a magenta appears at the bottom soles, hindering the french vanilla yellow midsole from touching the ground. Overall, it’s a similar color palette to what we recently saw with Action Bronson’s “Rosewater” collaboration.

We’re a bit glad to see New Balance approach its more colorful side. It’s been rather evident in the New Balance 550, the late-80s retro basketball model that is earnestly looking for a new identity after dominating the pre-aged vintage-thrifted look.
