Nicole McLaughlin And HOKA Revisit The Mafate THREE2 With Summer-Ready Colors

Nicole McLaughlin, one of the influential faces of the DIY movement that has shaped the apparel and footwear customization scene over the last decade, is back again with HOKA for another go-around with their celebrated Mafate THREE2 collaboration. Sticking with the same modular approach with the several-in-one gaiter, Nicole now selects a lighter color palette fit for the Summer outdoor sessions.

Be it for hiking or, in the case of their official lookbook (styled by @gramparents founder Kyle Kivijarvi), bird-watching, the MAFATE Three2 was already a reputable footwear option with its quick lace system, internal gusset, and molded EVA midsole. Where Nicole comes in, is on the exterior gaiter that can be work as a protective shroud or as a crew-length covering. Branded with both HOKA and nicolemclaughin, this add-on is constructed with canvas and rip-stop for full functional use.
