Coach Prime Reveals New Nike DT Max ‘96 In White And Gold

It’s a motto that’s hard to forget generally, but especially in the realm of Deion Sanders’ shoes: look good, feel good, play good. With the Swoosh and Coach Prime back in each others’ good graces there’s a palpable energy surrounding his product line once again, particularly around the incoming retro of the Nike Air DT Max ’96. After spending much of his off-the-field moments with the Buffaloes this year previewing the PE swag he and his players received, we’re getting another new edition as part of the offseason program.

Much like the last PE Sanders showed off, this relies heavily on the school’s trademark colors, painting the sawtooth design and lower half overall in proud CU Gold. Of course, Sanders never shied away from jewelry in his career, making the bodacious, metallic shades of this edition perfectly aligned with his charismatic demeanor. The real gem with this pair is, as he expressed clearly on video, the shoe “has his face in [it].” Indeed, Sanders’ visage appears inside a sole indentation, a final touch that all but confirms this specific shoe’s Prime-only exclusivity. It remains to be seen whether a take on this palette will release to the public, but one thing’s clear, Deion is just as all in on the return of his trademark trainer as the rest of us.

Catch in-hand looks of the Nike DT Max ’86 “White/Gold” ahead, and keep an eye on our Sneaker Release Dates page for the latest info on Deion Sanders’ sneakers.

Sticking with signature shoes, tap in to our latest on the Nike KD 17, including the Nike KD 17 Producer Pack landing on June 14th.
