The Nike Air Force 1 Wild “Dark Pony” Arrives Fall 2024

Fitting colors produce a clear autumn aesthetic.

The Nike Air Force 1 Wild “Dark Pony” Arrives Fall 2024

If you were to give the Nike ACG design team free reign over the Air Force 1, the outcome would probably look a lot like the women’s-exclusive Air Force 1 Wild. Bruce Kilgore’s lifestyle classic is completely re-tooled for outdoor adventure here, complete with a rugged nylon base, rope laces, and upgraded traction underfoot. Having just surpassed its one-year anniversary marker, the AF1 Wild continues to surface in new outdoorsy colorways like this latest “Dark Pony” pair slated for Fall 2024.

Two different “Dark Pony” shades balance each other out on the upper, with textured overlays placed above a slightly lighter base. The eyelets, branding, added heel padding provide contrast in “Light Violet Ore” so as to break from an almost monotone upper, while the midsole reflects the texture up top with a grid “Flax” pattern; a borrowed element from the Nike Air Terra Humara.

Expect pairs to hit shelves in Fall 2024 for $145, a fitting timeframe given the shoe’s clear embrace of autumnal colors. See official images ahead and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page for more from the Swoosh.
