Two OG colorways clash on an upcoming drop.

Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Deep Royal Blue” Arriving In Spring 2025

Halfway through 2024, there’s still plenty of meat left on the bone for this year’s premier celebration, the 35th birthday of the Air Jordan 4. However, as the continuing king of the hill in the footwear world, Jordan Brand’s release plans for next year are already a hot topic. The Air Jordan 1‘s impending 40th anniversary is getting some more commemorative heat added to the schedule with news of the Air Jordan 1 High “Deep Royal Blue.”

While the color-blocking and overall outfit in the initial mock-up images will incite some strong reactions, as always, all we have confirmed at this stage are the colors used: “White/Black/Neutral Grey/Deep Royal Blue/Muslin.” Simply with that blend, Jordan Brand is all but confirming some sort of revival or interpolation of two Air Jordan 1 OG releases, a fitting choice for such a momentous anniversary for the silhouette. With the upcoming release of the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe Reimagined” and the expected drop of the Air Jordan 1 “Bred” next All-Star weekend, the next 12 months are absolutely jam packed with nods back to 1985.

As of writing, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Deep Royal Blue” is set to arrive in February, with a reported retail price of $180.

Keeping with signature basketball shoes, check out our latest on the Nike Sabrina 2 and adidas AE1, both set to roll out plenty of new additions in the coming months.
