This cult smash is back.

The Nike Air Force 1 Jewel Returns In A Greyscale Execution

It’s been nearly a year since the Air Force 1 Jewel made an appearance, last drawing attention in August of 2023. No longer dormant, this variation of the iconic Air Force 1 is set to return as we uncover a first look at an upcoming greyscale colorway of the classic.

Keeping to the working formula of smooth grain leather on the upper, nylon tongues, and a sport mesh lining, this latest Air Force 1 Jewel boasts the smaller, more dimensional logo on both the medial and upper. As seen on other Nikes from 1996 and beyond (for example, on the heel of the Air More Uptempo), the Swoosh of this ’82 icon juts outwards with a smoky translucent, matching the gloomy color palette of light smoke grey and wolf grey on the sole.

Nike’s taking a focus on certified classics of the past, lassoing the Air Force 1 “Linen”, Air 180 “Ultramarine”, and other timeless joints that galvanized sneaker culture over two decades ago. Is it time Nike brings back the OG colorways of this AF1 variant? Only time will tell if that will become a reality, but you can rest knowing that the Swoosh this quirky model in its plans for Fall 2024.
