First Look At The Air Jordan 5 Low “Miami”

Hints of Gatorade on this upcoming release.

First Look At The Air Jordan 5 Low “Miami”

As Jordans have grown and grown in popularity, the number of GS and under releases have steadily increased in turn. Though typically dressed in totally vibrant, expressive palettes, every so often JB mints a pair that makes even the adults jealous. The Air Jordan 5 Low “Football Grey” utilizes a collegiate colorway to reach that point, coming your way this June.

Though the combination is novel, this pair relies on traditional Air Jordan 5 color-blocking. However, there’s more than meets the eye when it comes to this shoe. Most of the intrigue comes from the quarter panel, clad in glossy patent leather and featuring printed graphics of water droplets. Readers may know that this is a motif we’ve seen before, appearing on the Air Jordan 1 Low and Jordan 1 Mid “Gatorade” from the past couple months.

With the “Brilliant Orange” and “Pine Green” colors confirmed far in advance, mock-ups of this pair already elicited “Miami Hurricanes” comparisons even before we saw them in-hand. That certainly holds up in its actualized form, proudly carrying the U’s trademark shades. In all, the colors at work mesh well with the aforementioned aquatic imagery, both working to create a comprehensively tropical final product.

The Air Jordan 5 Low “Miami Hurricanes” is already listed for a June 6th release, dropping in Grade School, Preschool and Toddler sizing. Enjoy detailed imagery below.

For some all ages pairs, here’s our latest on the Air Space Jam 11 Low and Air Jordan 12 “Red Taxi.”
