Of all the 1990s-era Nike Air Max classics, Sergio Lozano’s 1995 model seems to be getting the least amount of attention, making way for its siblings to priority treatment with retro re-issues and modern re-imaginations stuffing store shelves season after season. It is, however, getting more love on the collaborations category as projects with CORTEIZ and A Ma Maniere are set to drop later this year.

But any true Air Max 95 will tell you that while special editions and region-exclusive executions like the Atlanta Air Max 95 are appreciated, all it really takes is a great colorway to get it back on the radar. Forget marketing strategy and seeding influencers — any Air Max 95 that sticks to the original grey gradient (or treads close to it) will immediately command eyeballs, like this upcoming “Iron Grey/Baltic Blue” pair is doing.
