“Safety Orange” Animates The Air Jordan 1 Method Of Make

An autumnal palette marks this Fall release.

“Safety Orange” Animates The Air Jordan 1 Method Of Make

The Air Jordan 1 Method of Make series has proved to be a sleeper hit for JB, bringing maximalist design language to MJ’s classic kicks. While the Low version takes cues from the designer world, the High cut featured here exemplifies a different kind of forward-thinking, carried through in this “Safety Orange” colorway.

The classic design of the Air Jordan 1 continues on in broad strokes, but the emphasis on layered construction is all-encompassing. The edges of every leather panel extend wildly beyond their stitching, creating a ton of overlap and overhang in the process. Underlying plies swap to textured canvas and the tongue exposes in its interior foam. Switching to the palette at play, the heavy doses of “Safety Orange” and “Burnt Sunrise” inch this colorway towards the “Shattered Backboard” canon and the “Dusty Cactus” edition dropped earlier this year.

The Air Jordan 1 Method of Make “Safety Orange” is expected to release this Fall, launching in women’s sizing with a $155 retail price. Keep our Jordan Release Dates 2024 page handy as official details emerge.

Speaking of, next week brings two high-heat debuts between the Air Jordan 12 “Red Taxi” and the second J Balvin Jordan 3.
