An integral component of technical hiking footwear is a level of visibility in the off chance a hiker gets lost or injured. That is quite clearly not a priority with this super-sleek approach to the Nike ACG Mountain Fly Low 2, the latest in the sub-category’s modern tech hiker.
Dressed head to toe in black, this upcoming release feature Gore-Tex protection for that added defense against wet climates. The mere hit of white on the official Gore-Tex logo appears on the tongue pull-tab, while a touch of grey hits the ACG pyramid on the heel. This is certainly not the first stealth approach to the shoe; Nike actually introduced the ACG Mountain Fly (in the original mid-cut form) in a similar all-black look.
If you’re looking for a new tech runner/hiker for the trails, expect these to arrive on Nike.com soon for $180.
In more all-black shoes, check out the Jordan Spiz’ike Low “Black Cat”.
