Sneaker News Kith is ready to embark on its next global flagship expansion, setting up shop in bustling Seongsu neighborhood in Seoul. Situated just north of Gangnam, Seongsu has gained a reputation as one of the “it” areas of the South Korean city as it already boasts one of the best retail destinations that include several Korean home-grown brands as well as other global imprints. Now customary for Kith, an ASICS GEL-Lyte III collaboration will mark the grand opening — and Ronnie Fieg just shared a look at what’s to come.
This GEL-Lyte III is built with extra-hairy suedes overlays, smooth nubuck panels, and a quilted stitch treatment on its base-layer shaded in a bone grey. A darker cool grey fills in the ASICS strike logo while a pale blue lines the interior. The color palette itself is a play on the official colors of the South Korean flag.
The official grand opening date for Kith Seoul has yet to be revealed, but we expect an official announcement soon. Kith has additional flagship locations in Miami, Toronto, Tokyo, London, and Paris.
