Modern technology has become so advanced to the point where professional grade work of all kinds can be done on beautifully designed gadgets, and Apple’s iPad line is an example of how design work can be done more efficiently and on the go. For the latest unveiling of their newest iPad Pro and Pencil Pro, Apple teamed up with Nike to celebrate the occasion with a special pair of shoes that truly convey the handheld’s capability.
To celebrate the unveiling of the iPad’s newest line-up Nike created a special edition colorway of the Air Max 1 ’86 that was designed on this power-packed new piece of equipment. In fact, the Swoosh brand made a 1-of-1 pair just for Apple CEO Tim Cook, who was seen wearing the shoes during the live-stream event.
With a clean all-white base, Nike addes color-full scribblings around the territory of the Swoosh logo, embroidering the various strands of Pencil marks. Furthermore, speckles of black are seen on the mudguard all the around the heel, while a heather grey plush fabric lines the interior. Finally, a special “Made on iPad” tongue label finishes the look.
Unfortunately for sneakerheads and Air Max fanatics, these were made just for the tech brand’s head honcho. You can, however, purchase the newest Apple iPad line beginning on May 15th.
