The New Balance 480 “Summer Neon Pack” Is Available Now

While we’ve spilled plenty of ink on the more high-profile silhouettes in the New Balance catalog like the New Balance 550, New Balance 1906R or New Balance 9060, the Boston giant didn’t achieve its current ubiquity on hype alone. The company has always offered a full range of affordable, every day staples that still offer a ton in the style department, and the New Balance 480 is a perfect example.

These shoes lean into a layered composition, painting upper leather overlays in each respective neon shade while keeping things in a calm white underneath. The electrifying hues of the “Lemon Zest” pair may be the most eye-catching, but the “Hot Mango” and “Airy Teal” editions aren’t any less weather-appropriate. All three spotlight summery shades in a low-key lifestyle package, offering a way into the vintage basketball styles of the New Balance catalog in accessible, seasonal fashion.
