The Nike Air Footscape Woven Nods To NAI-KE and “The One Line”

Unorthodox patterns grace the 90s model.

The Nike Air Footscape Woven Nods To NAI-KE and “The One Line”

Among a deep catalog of regional Nike releases, the NAI-KE series has been one of the more consistent, providing Asia-exclusive releases since 2015. With the program last reprised with the Nike Air Footscape Woven in November, another rendition of the same shoe may be wearing the same ties.

The cream & olive pair at hand wears debossed branding on its tongue that seems to hint to that. The Hanzi translation of Nike’s logo is stamped above a tagline that reads “The One Line,” a motif that calls back to Nike’s origins when they minted “knock-offs” of their own product, distributed under that subtitle. The iconic woven foxing takes on an unconventional look as well. While it mostly wears a white & grey palette, that’s interrupted by consistent hits of orange and meted jade, aquamarine, teal and pink patches. “Dusty Mauve” closes out this design in the margins, painting the lace locks and anchoring underfoot on the outsole.

As of writing, the NAI-KE ties for this pair remain unconfirmed, and information generally is limited. Should they bear out, however, this will be an Asia-exclusive release. Nonetheless, you can get a closer look at this sneaker just ahead.

Elsewhere for the Swoosh, the Air Jordan 4 RM was revealed by its first collaborator, Nigel Sylvester.
