Even if its introduction is more than a decade in the rear view, Nike continues searching for new ways to weave Flyknit technology into the future of its product line. One of the latest models to incorporate it is the Nike Flyknit Bloom, a refraction of the lightweight material that embraces chunky, platform sneaker trends of the 2020s. With most of its previous colorways going a more neutral route, the latest Nike Flyknit Bloom in “Bright Crimson/Black” presents a novel outfitting for the silhouette.
It’s a formula we’ve seen plenty before, juxtaposing bright neon shades against a midnight backdrop, and one that succeeds again in this application. The gleaming combination of pink and orange that dominates the upper single-handedly brings a ton of energy to this shoe’s profile. Metered applications of pure black in the lower half and in the lace sections that extend to an unorthodox heel knot keep it in grounded territory. It’s a palette that reflects the Nike Flyknit Bloom construction overall, matching a technology and shade we’re all familiar with yet bringing plenty of new life into its modern application.
The Nike Flyknit Bloom “Bright Crimson” is set to release in the coming weeks, carrying a $150 sticker price. Enjoy an official image gallery below.
For a more immediate drop, the Nike Dunk Low “City Of Style” releases April 22nd.
