The Nike Cortez keeps marching on as one of Nike’s most reliable lifestyle models. Though the impending release of the Forrest Gump Cortez will vault it into the spotlight once again, drops like “Baltic Blue” edition present easily accessible, ever-stylish seasonal options.

The uppers are primarily drenched in the titular “Baltic Blue,” with “Team Gold” providing faux-vintage hits on the midsole. It’s a combination that makes these proudly tropical overall, but the mix of black and orange hits on the Swoosh and branding tabs keep them in grounded territory. The palette at play would lend these to a smattering of stadium ready looks, from the Dolphins to the Giants to the Knicks, but they certainly make for a perfect summer shoe regardless of where you’re pulling them out of the closet.
