First Look At The Nike Kobe 8 Protro “EYBL” PE

Nike Basketball’s various sponsored youth leagues are starting to get new sneaker deliveries as they start their respective seasons. Just as the brand touches down with new pairs for China’s high school circuit, we’re graced with a first look at new EYBL Kobe 8 and Zoom GT Cut 3 PEs as teams embark on a new campaign this spring.

The Kobe’s all-purple base is made different by subtle “KB24” stitching on the forefoot and white pinstripes on the heel, matched by faded lines on midsole. The most distinctive element, however, presents on the tongue. It’s made of thin fabric unlike other recent Protros (used to be the norm) and features a metallic gold stamp, evoking a favored element of the legendary Premio Bin Jordan 9.

The Zoom GT Cut 3 take a similar route with a monotone green upper atop a dual-tone midsole, complete with text reading “EYBL FAM REUNION” on the heel. Cosmo and Wanda vibes run deep when you set the shoes side-by-side.

Enjoy a first look at both pairs below and check out our Sneaker Release Dates page for a full preview of all upcoming Nike Basketball drops. No word on a release date for these EYBL pairs has been mentioned at the time of this writing.
