Inside The Nike Air Immersion Space In Paris

The countdown to the Olympic Games begins today at the Palais Brongniart in Paris as Nike unveiled its Air Immersion Space to select media across the globe. Unveiling an innovation supercycle around the limitless expressions of Air technology, Nike debuted several new models that will see action in the Games such as the Zoom GT Hustle 3 in basketball, Zoom Max Fly 2 in Track & Field, and the all-new Mercurial football boot. Also revealed was the Pegasus 41 running shoe, the latest installment in the unchallenged legacy, and the Pegasus Premium, the first shoe with a visible full-length sculpted Zoom Air unit. Once again, Nike is positioning itself to dominate the Paris Olympics with its latest and greatest footwear technology designed with data-backed analysis from the Nike Sports Research Lab made specifically for athletes.

The Palais Brongniart was transformed into a full-fledged Air experience, starting with a historical exhibit of a variety of Air-cushioned icons dating back to the first-ever Air shoe, the Air Tailwind. It continued into a cultural exhibit with emphasis on collaborations with the likes of Parra, Stash, atmos, Corteiz, and more. It then continued into a display of The Blueprint Pack, revealing a first look at the aforementioned models. The space concluded with a room transformed into a futuristic running track; sounds of actual runners and their footsteps filled the room, with the Pegasus Premium on display.
