Elephant print leather adds more distinctiveness.

Portland’s Deadstock Coffee Puts A “Mocha” Spin On The Jordan Tatum 2

Ian Williams worked his way up from janitor to shoe designer at Nike before launching Deadstock Coffee in 2014, the world’s first sneaker-themed coffee shop located in the heart of Portland. Now that path comes full circle, as Deadstock spreads its influence on a coffee-themed Jordan Tatum 2 PE.

Sneakerheads will be quick to call out the shoe’s Travis Scott aesthetic, but let’s give credit where it’s due; Deadstock probably landed on “Mocha” treatments independently. They make a living selling it, after all.

On top of the brown color, the shoes work in another favored design cue with elephant print leather on the toe and heel, marking the Tatum 2’s first use of elephant print. Deadstock and JT branding appears on the left and right tongues, respectively, while Deadstock’s address takes to the inner portion. Otherwise, white leather, mesh, and midsole elements provide a clean backdrop.

Deadstock celebrated its first sneaker collaboration with an adidas ZX 8000 in 2021, but its co-signed Jordan Tatum 2 isn’t expected to release at the time of this writing. In any case, enjoy detailed images below and visit our Jordan Release Dates page for a full preview of upcoming Tatum 2 deliveries.
