New Balance WRPD Runner “Clay Ash” Settles On April 12th

Muted pastels mark this season-appropriate drop.

New Balance WRPD Runner “Clay Ash” Settles On April 12th

The push for the New Balance WRPD Runner continues. It’s received as many new colorways in the past month as arguably any of their other models, illustrating how much stock NB is putting in the retro futuristic silhouette. As the weather begins warming up, the next edition in “Clay Ash” is totally fit for the occasion.

“Clay Ash” lends these their title and gets the foremost real estate on this design, taking to the suede overlays that run throughout the upper. However, it’s the pastel notes elsewhere that are the most eye-catching. “Salt Marsh” is refracted into a few adjacent shades that dot around the shoe: deep blue on the midsole patch, seafoam on the laces and a near cyan on underlying mesh. Though Easter is behind us, the colorway here carries its signature colors into the Summer slate- and the complementary bright shades at play are a fit regardless of what the calendar says.

The New Balance WRPD Runner “Clay Ash” releases April 12th via NewBalance.com, sliding in with a $150 retail price. Enjoy official images ahead to get a sense of this pair before their arrival.
