The Radical Nike Blazer Mid Pro Club Goes Traditional In “Stadium Green”

Cut from the same cloth as the Air Max 90 Futura or the Air Force 1 Shadow, the “Pro Club” offshoot has taken the Nike Blazer Mid into far more experimental construction than on mainline releases. While that typically can describe the model’s colorways as well, the Nike Blazer Mid Pro Club steers back to its heritage in a just-released “Pure Platinum/Stadium Green” colorway.

For those uninitiated with the model, the revamp it displays is pretty comprehensive, though most of the changes occur from a profile view. A slight rubber patch bridges from the midsole and peeks under the Swoosh, with visible stitching securing it over top. Additionally, the one piece leather siding gets segmented, with the middle two panels constructed out of mesh. We’ve seen the classic white & green combination plenty of times before, so those construction changes are what speaks the loudest on this pair. However, the familiar palette, still timeless as ever, could also serve as an easy entryway into the “Pro Club” if their experimental hardware had previously scared you off.

We’ll leave the ultimate judgment to you. The Nike Blazer Mid Pro Club “Stadium Green” is available now via Nike.com, commanding a $115 retail price. You can find direct purchase links below.

In other Swoosh news, the Nike Air Max 95 “Atlanta” gears up for a 404 day drop.
