“Pink Sugar” Brightens Up The New Balance 530

The New Balance 530 isn’t looked upon with the same fondness as tentpoles like the New Balance 550 and “Made In” pairs, but its Y2K design language and $100 price point enforce its foothold among Boston brand mainstays.

In keeping with the warm weather palettes associated with the arrival of spring, New Balance offers up a new men’s pair featuring vibrant “Pink Sugar” overlays against a white base. A notable detail surrounding this release doesn’t pertain to the shoe itself, but rather its drop procedure. This pair stands as one of the first few releases available through the New Balance Early Access Program announced in February. All those interested in securing an early pair can submit an entry between 3/22 and 3/27 ahead of the shoe’s general release on 3/29, with no purchase commitment required.
