Bruce Kilgore’s Nike Air Force 1 is totally reimagined with patterned fabric and double-stacked laces on an upcoming pair for Summer 2024. This inline design boasts the unique qualities of a collaboration with retro design cues of the 80s and 90s, a timeframe that witnessed the meteoric rise of the Air Force 1 silhouette at large.

The entire upper features a vibrant, retro diamond-grid pattern, but the inverse colors differentiate the base and overlays. The toe, eyelets, and heel appear in light coloring to suit the shoe’s various white elements, while the toe box and quarter fulfill a more complete pink/purple palette. If these treatments weren’t enough, Nike adds double-stacked laces a la Sacai in white and blue for added flair, matched by blue tongue branding. All considerations combine to produce an undeniably unique colorway sure to be a celebrated upon its eventual release.
