Could the script have been written any better for Anthony Edwards and the AE1? His first signature shoe with adidas has been a breath of fresh air in the oversaturated signature shoe marketplace, but the three stripes has hit gold with the Minnesota Timberwolves star with his debut model.
Looking towards the second wave of AE1 colorways, we’re getting a first look at an attractive colorway dubbed “Pearlized Pink” for its semblance to the Air Foamposite One of the same name. With its foam-molded upper, it’s easy to make a comparison to its competitors game-changing model, but the AE1 stands alone at the moment thanks to the on-court highlights of the athlete these were made for.
These photos revealed by @brandon1an on Twitter reveal just a taste of official images, and while a release date is currently unknown, a drop is likely happening during the second quarter of 2024 for $120. Stay tuned for updates, additional detailed images, and more.
