Though images had surfaced before, JD Sports is providing the closest look yet for the upcoming re-release. The blue, red and white combo works well in tying these to the 76ers, but the true inspiration at play here dates all the way back to 2002, when a young Bryant took home All-Star MVP in the City of Brotherly Love. With that in mind, though the stars on the collar certainly call to mind Iverson-era jerseys, they’re more directly connected to the logo of that high-octane exhibition.
