Given the sheer inescapability of the Nike Dunk Low and Nike Dunk High, their mid-cut counterpart is something of a rare sight. Even rarer is the canvas version, a material shift that brings them closer to Nike SB flagship models. Emerging for the first time in more than a year, the Nike Dunk Mid Canvas arrives clad in “Dusty Cactus/Light Green.”
“Dusty Cactus” itself has been something of a trademark color this year, the teal shade popping up again and again on plenty of GR Nike models. Seeing it here, then, is not too much of a surprise, but its combination with “Light Green” lends a distinctly aquatic atmosphere to this pair.
Comparing it to true “Tiffany” releases would be a stretch, but at the very least, this release relies on the precedent of previous aquamarine heavy drops (the “Un-Tiffany” come to mind.) The sole interruptions to that aforementioned palette come through platinum white and grey accents, marking the laces, Swoosh, midsole and select branding throughout the shoe.
No concrete release date has been set for the Nike Dunk Mid “Dusty Cactus,” but they will carry a $115 MSRP when they do arrive. Anticipate a rollout in the coming months to Nike.com and select retailers.
In high-profile SB news, the Rayssa Leal Nike Dunk Low stand as one of the biggest Dunk drops so far in 2024.
