First Look At The Dover Street Market x adidas Samba

Set to release at this weekend's Felix Art Fair.

First Look At The Dover Street Market x adidas Samba

Per insider @brandon1an, Dover Street Market is renewing their collaborative relationship with adidas. Last linking up for the Dover Street Market adidas Stan Smith back in 2020, an adidas Samba is next up on their schedule.

Keeping in line with DSM’s past history and reputation, they’re leaning very conservative with the new look for the adidas Samba. Clad entirely in black, the only real novel addition comes on the tongues, where the DSM logo alternates from shoe to shoe with the typical adidas logo. Otherwise, the sneakers read as a standard adidas Samba, overtaken in all-black outside of the Three Stripes on the side and the aforementioned pieces of branding.

The pair will be releasing this week at Los Angeles’ Felix Art Fair, where Dover Street Market will have a heavy presence. They’ve already announced a slew of 1-of-1 collections they’ll have on tap this weekend, including exclusive items from Rick Owens, Total Luxury Spa and a CDG pop up the Manhattan imprint is co-hosting. As for the Samba, it seems equally possible that these will remain a limited release this weekend, or that a wider drop at DSM locations will follow afterwards.

While we await more details, take a look at a confirmed Three Stripes collaboration with the Bob Marley adidas SL72.
