Miu Miu’s minimal re-creation of the New Balance 530 is finally here, but it’ll cost you a pretty penny to get your feet in them.
Debuting last October during Paris Fashion Week, Miu Miu’s refined take on the New Balance 530, officially dubbed the 530 SL for “Super Light”, has just released online with an eye-catching price-tag of $1,120. The luxury fashion label, the sister brand of Prada, presents its latest collection in a laid-back atmosphere featuring Peris Adolwi, Julie Hoomans, and Florine Wildeboer.
Originally debuting as a performance shoe in 1992, the New Balance 530 gets a swift modification via a deconstructed, “lived-in” interpretation with flat soles, with three distinct colors conveying the vision. A distressed suede in a natural beige arrives alongside a standard suede and mesh in black or white.
Each pair has quite a hefty price-tag of $1,120 is available now directly from Miu Miu’s online store. No word yet on whether or not these will arrive on New Balance.
